Miroslav Ondříček is a Czech cinematographer with a body of work spanning over 40 films, including Amadeus and Ragtime.

Miroslav Ondříček was born on November 4, 1934 in Prague, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic). He studied filmmaking at the Barrandov Studio Training School and began making movies during the Czech New Wave. His first feature film work was on Miloš Forman's Talent Competition. Ondříček left his homeland after the Soviet invasion in 1968, first moving to Britain, then to America, where he continued his long working relationship with Forman on such films as Hair, Ragtime and Amadeus.

Miroslav Ondříček is father of film director David Ondříček.
