Miriam Flynn
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Miriam Flynn (born June 18, 1952) is an American voice artist and character actress. She is best known as "Cousin Catherine" in the Vacation franchise. As a voice artist, she has been featured in The Land Before Time series and Family Guy. She also played Sister Helen on the TV sitcom Grounded for Life.
Flynn was a member of the Second City improv troupe in 1975. She appeared on stage alongside Shelley Long, George Wendt, Andrea Martin, Catherine O'Hara, and Jim Belushi. She would play Wendt's character's wife, Vera, on Cheers (the character was never seen or heard and Flynn's sole appearance in the role got her a pie in the face, and she is never seen again).
