Alexandrina Mireya Luis is an Olympic volleyball player, born in Camagüey, Cuba, 25 February 1967.

Luis represent the generation of the cuban players' that will be inbatible in world cenary. As a 16 year-old she played in national team in pan-American games in Caracas, 1983. In 1987, she won the pan-American games again. in 1990 she injured your knee, but she return to squares and in 1991 she won the first international tournaument, the Grand Prix. She was the best attack of the tornaument. She is incrible for your jump explosion (3,37 m).In Olympics' Games of the Barcelona 1992 Mireya and your friends,Regla Bell, Regla Torres, Izquierdo, Marlenis Costa, won the first gold medal. In 1994 she was the world champion in Brazil, won the local team by the 3-0 in final game. The Cuba team don't lose one set in champion and Mireya was the best player. In 1996, in Olympics's Games of the Atlanta she won again and conquisted you secound gold medal. Mireya and ohthers cuban's player fought with Brazilian in semifinal game. In 1998 she turn bi world champion, in Japan, defeat China in final game(3-1). In 2000 she won the Grand Prix again and the close you carrier with the-Olympic champion after defeat Brazil in semifinal game and Russia in final game, both to 3-2.
