mIRCScripts.org, aka ms.org, is one of the largest online mIRC Scripting communities. It serves as a hub of interaction with sections including code archives, tutorials, challenges, user contributed screenshots and web board.

[edit] History

The domain was originally registered for the Undernet IRC channel #mircscripts and its members. In June 2000, mircscripts.org was born as a scripters' community website and has since developed into the largest mIRC-related website on the Internet. Like any other community, participation from its userbase has kept it alive since inception. And while it is common of people to direct praise at the founders of a community, dohcan and fubar maintain that no two people alone should receive such praise. The mission statement is and has always been as follows:

"mircscripts.org is, hopefully, a site a little different than others. Instead of simply having a site full of pre-made scripts, we also have tutorials, code snippets, addons, and other resources to help you improve your script. But we do realize that full scripts are an important and a useful resource, so we extensively test and review all of the full scripts you see on this site. We thrive on user-submissions and support, so we encourage you to participate in helping our site grow. You may even learn something too."
