[edit] Notability
Basically, a band must be signed, have widespread release and have widespread notability. Opening for a major act rings the bell. Indie acts are great, but again, there is a notability factor to be considered. Start-up bands, local bands, garage bands and the like literally overwhelm the site and are quickly deleted. The title you refer to had a lot pf previous deletions, so I locked it down. Nothin personal. If you can provide some press establishing notability, I'll unlock it immediately. - Lucky 6.9 07:02, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
