Talk:Minibike

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

All the photos on this page missed the keyword, which is ... mini. In order to show what so mini about these bikes, the photos should at least show something next to it for scale. Couple of the photos at the bottom have tiny folding chairs in the background. In comparison to the chairs, the bike just look like a regular size motorcycle. I'd suggest someone to replace these photos to include an adult size rider. Kowloonese 08:04, September 8, 2005 (UTC)

Hmm, I agree. But, I took the first picture, and I can't change it until i put an engine on it. :) --Phroziac (talk) 12:49, September 8, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] pocket bike

Is a pocket bike the same as a minibike? Maybe there are more than one kind of minibike?

A pocket bike is a type of minibike, but not exactly the same. They're generally the newer really tiny ones, with small two stroke engines. Some are good and cost $1000+ (USD), some are cheap and fall apart and cost $200. There's a huge size difference, compared to my minibike (top picture, "old style minibike"). --Phroziac(talk) 15:53, 12 November 2005 (UTC)

Pocket bikes, Super Pocket bikes, and Pit Bikes may have grown out of minibikes, but have their own definitions, which are not covered here, but all the possible pocket bike links are redirected here. I think there should be more information on these.Seasalt 12:46, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
