Minuit (pronounced min-wee, French for midnight) are an Electronic/Pop band from New Zealand, originally from Nelson. The members of Minuit are Paul Dodge, Ruth Carr and Ryan Beehre. Carr and Dodge are married.

They first came to prominence in 2002 when their first single 'Species II' was used in the intro to the New Zealand gay and lesbian lifestyle TV show Queer Nation. Their debut album, "The 88", was released in late 2003.

A video of the single "Except U" was made by Alyx Duncan. Then in 2005 came an interim EP, the limited edition 5 track EP "The Guns EP", featuring the single "I hate guns" (which had an animated video mimicking the TV show "Are You Being Served?).

Released in 2006 was the album "The Guards Themselves". The band turned to Alyx Duncan once again to make a video for their single 'Fuji'.
