Minnesota Whitecaps

Minnesota Whitecaps is a professional women's ice hockey team that plays in the Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota area. Beginning in 2006-07 they will be a member of the National Women's Hockey League. They had been part of the Western Women's Hockey League from the fall of 2004 until the summer of 2006. In July of 2006 it was announced that team along with other WWHL teams would be joining the National Women's Hockey League for the 2006-07 season.
