[edit] Notes

Highway 312, the newest section of which opened in 2002, is a temporary designation for what will eventually become part of the US 212 freeway, and most of its length is multiplexed with Minnesota State Highway 5. Some signs at roadway junctions (such as Prairie Center Drive and Mitchell Road) have Highway 312 signs, but there is no signage for Highway 312 near its presumed eastern junction with Interstate 494 or US 212.
