The Minnesota Republic is a University of Minnesota newspaper. It advertises as the "conservative alternative" to the two other University of Minnesota student publications: The Minnesota Daily and The Wake Student Magazine. The inaugural issue was released in February of 2006. It is currently supported by University student services fees. The current Editor-in-Chief is Andrew Larson.
