Minjiang River (Sichuan)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Minjiang River (江; pinyin: Mínjiāng) is a 735km-long river in central Sichuan province, China. It is a tributary of the upper Yangtze River (Chang Jiang) which it joins at Yibin (宜宾). The Dujiangyan Irrigation System (都江堰) is located on this river.

The name should not to be confused with the Minjiang River (Fujian), which is written 闽江.
