The Ministry of Public Health, Wellbeing and Sports (Dutch: Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport; VWS) is the public health authority of the Netherlands. The current minister of this department is Hans Hoogervorst.

In 2005, the Ministry announed changes to the health insurance fund's coverage, noting that it no longer would cover certain treatments, such anti-snoring treatments and treatments for convalescence after sterilization operations. However, the Ministry noted that people paying for their own treatments could be eligible for tax deductions. in addition the minister is instituting a new policy of health reform whereas everyone is required to take out health insurance.
