The Minister of Transportation is a cabinet member in the Government of France. It was created in 1870 as a modification of the position of Minister of Public Works ("Ministre des Travaux Publics") (1830-1870). The position has changed names numerous times and had also frequently been combined with the positions of Minister of Public Works ("Ministre de l'Equipement"), Minister of Housing ("Logement"), Minister of Tourism, Minister of Territorial Development ("Aménagement du territoire") and Minister of the Sea.

The current position of Minister of Transportation, Public Works, Tourism and the Sea is held by Dominique Perben.
