Minimumweight or Strawweight (also referred to as Light flyweight or Mini flyweight) is a weight category in boxing where boxers may weigh no more than 105 pounds (7.5 stone). This is a relatively new weight category. Takayama (WBC) and Niida (WBA) are some of the current champions in this weight class. Ricardo “Finito” Lopez—51-0-1 38 ko’s WBC Strawweight Champion---22 title defenses, unified the WBO championship. IBF Mini Flyweight Champion—2 title defenses. Notable wins: Kyun Yun Li, Kermin Guardia, Andy Tabanas, Edito Villamor, Alex Sanchez, Rosendo Alvarez, Will Grigsby. Ricardo Lopez was the second champion in history to retire undefeated.
