miniaim is a minimalist AIM client using the TOC2 protocol for windows written in C++ by Jon Honeycutt. miniaim uses only the Win32 API, which gives it its small size (currently 63.5k).
miniaim's small feature-set includes:
- minimizing to tray
- tabbed interface with middle click close
- single executable (no installation needed), with optional OTR library, naturally portable
- option to use your formatting for incoming messages
- option to use the Off-the-record messaging library
- ability to receive files, with or without using the AOL file transfer proxy
- option to log conversations in html or plain text
- saving settings to a tiny external file (miniaim.ini)
- graphical smilies (with option to disable them)
