Mini Oberhasli

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Mini Oberhasli, also called an Oberian, is a dairy goat that was created by breeding a Nigerian Dwarf buck with an Oberhasli doe. It is bay red with black markings, although it also may be pure black.

These medium sized goats produce from 1/2 to 1-1/2 gallons of milk per day. They are registered by the Miniature Dairy Goat Association (MDGA). Mini oberhaslis are considered experimental at the third generation and purebred at the sixth generation. Currently only experimental Oberians exist.
