Mini Cheddars
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mini Cheddars are a brand of baked cheese-flavoured British-style savoury biscuit, made by McVitie's as an alternative to other snack foods such as fried potato crisps.
Mini-cheddars were the result of product diversification by McVitie's as sales of their original cheddar cheese biscuits began to wane. They were originally manufactured and sold by Crawfords. They became increasingly popular in the early 1990s, and soon new flavours were introduced. Flavours include (as of summer 2006): BBQ Beef, Branston Pickle, Cheese & Onion and Mature Cheddar. A new range of crispier crinkled Mini Cheddars called Crinklys has been launched, with flavours such as Sweet Chilli and Cheese & Onion.
