Minhang District

The Minhang (Chinese: 闵行, Hanyu Pinyin: min3hang2) district of Shanghai has a land area of 371.57 km² and a population of 593,400 as of 2001.

It is mostly an residential district. Shanghai Metro Line 1 has its southwestern terminus in Minhang in the town of Xinzhuang, near the end of the Humin elevated road (Hu = Shanghai, Min = Minhang).
