MediaWiki talk:Minoreditletter

It's been suggested that a lower case M be used, because it's easier to distinguish from N. So I'm being bold and changing it. Change it back if you don't like it. -- Tim Starling 04:35, Mar 15, 2004 (UTC)

What about making the N more clear? "New: " is rather nice, but it means this symbol needs a trailing space, which looks ugly, but one can exploit the fact and use spaces to indent off minor articles, but then indenting by spaces isn't quite the Right Thing to do anyway... Using anything other than one letter throws off the indenting in the enhanced RC. -- Tim Starling 04:44, Mar 15, 2004 (UTC)
*disheartened look* I had such high ideas... Ok, never mind :) Dysprosia 04:46, 15 Mar 2004 (UTC)
I noticed this last night and though it was so much nicer -- and better contrast with the N for new pages. I should have realized it was your handiwork Tim. Jolly good show! BCorr¤Брайен 13:50, Mar 15, 2004 (UTC)

Why was this changed back to an upper-case letter?  – Jrdioko (Talk) 01:13, 11 Jul 2004 (UTC)

I take that back... it seems to still be lowercase, but why is it displaying differently on Recent Changes and History?  – Jrdioko (Talk) 01:15, 11 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Yes, why is it capital now? It makes it much harder to distinguish from N at a glance. Please change it back. Livajo 14:33, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Never mind, it seems to have been reverted. Livajo 14:34, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)
And now it's back to uppercase M? What's the deal? Livajo 19:31, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)
It is now in lowercase for the past two years. --Siva1979Talk to me 22:26, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
