[edit] FPC promotion
|
FYI, a slightly-modified version of your Cricket Positions diagram has been promoted to featured picture status. Stevage updated your original diagram to address a couple minor issues, and his edit was promoted. You are both credited on the featured version. Congratulations! -- moondigger 14:25, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] SVG Racing circuits
Hi there,
I love the work you have done with the F1 racing circuits. In fact, I took the liberty of adding to the Monaco one:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:GrandPrix_Circuit_Monaco2.svg
This SVG file has the names of the corners added, and it is also optimised to be less than half of the original size. Would you like me to do the same with some of the others?
Anyway I was wondering if you had considered doing an SVG of the Sarthe circuit at Le Mans? Also, the Fuji circuit will be replacing Sukuza in Japan from next year. Do you plan to do that? Is it simple software you use to convert automatically from a bitmap?
Cheers,
Richard

[edit] SVG Circuit diagrams
Hi there,
Regarding the names of racing corners, I think most of them are independent of language, unless they contain "straight" or "hairpin" or similar. Unless of course, you want to write the names in Russian or Arabic or something.
Anyway, I have created Fuji and Sarthe SVG files, as well as updating Silverstone and Suzuka, and I will upload them in the next few days.
Thanks fo rletting me know about Inkscape!
Cheers,
Richard
