Talk:Mile Road System (Detroit)

[edit] The name
Nitendude had moved this to Mile Road System (Michigan), and I moved it back mostly because I had thought it was specific to the metro detroit area, but also because there are quite a few double redirects that need to be fixed if the page is moved. I can see that the article has info on several other counties throughout Michigan, so the Ninedude's name might actually be OK. But please, if page is moved again, please go though What links here and fix any of the resulting double-redirects. older ≠ wiser 20:42, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
- Many counties in Michigan have mile road systems, and I don't find any of them terribly notable. What use is an encyclopedia page noting the mile roads of a county and their other names? I'd rather look at a map. The description of the layout of a county's roads would me more appropriate on that county's particlar article page.Segelflugzeugwettbewerber 22:42, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Article Cleanup
- I'd like to see the Bay and Midland County Mile Roads be moved to a seperate article to keep this one about the Detroit system specifically.
- In addition , I think the use of Bold font is a bit excessive and should be fixed
- Also, I think we could merge the Oakland and Macomb names into one list - as the article is cluttered enough already.
