Milovan Drecun

Milovan Drecun (Serbian Cyrillic Милован Дрецун, born 4 October 1957), is a Serbian journalist. He was a candidate for president of Serbia in the Serbian presidential election, 2004, on the Serbian Revival ticket.

Formerly a member of Slobodan Milošević's Socialist Party of Serbia, Drecun was a war correspondent for RTS 1, the Serbian state television network, during the Kosovo War of 1999. He was banned from national TV after the fall of Milošević in 2000. Drecun is now a full-time military commentator for a few newspapers in Serbia and Montenegro. He has written two books on the ground conflict in the Kosovo War - The Second Battle of Kosovo (Други Косовски Бој) and Kosmet Legend (Косметска легенда).
