Milo Goes to College is the 1982 release by the punk band The Descendents. It was released on SST Records. Today it is considered to be the band's best album[citation needed]. SPIN magazine rated the album one of the top all time hardcore albums. "Suburban Home" and "Myage" became locally popular (as well as being college hits), while many other songs from the album became fan favorites. Taking Back Sunday covered "Suburban Home" for the game Tony Hawk's American Wasteland. Moreover, Sublime covered the song 'Hope' on their 1991 album 40 Oz. to Freedom.

The band enjoyed putting the suffix "-age" at the end of things, as seen on the tracks "Myage", "Tonyage" and "Bikeage" (as well as, coincidentally, "Marriage). This is also proven by the title of their live album, "Liveage". This, as well as the band's affiliation and appeal with and to nerdage, have linked the Descendents to the common addition of the suffix "-age" in Leet.
