A Millrynd, also called a Fer de Moline, is a relatively common heraldic device. It can be found in the arms of Sir William Saunsum as: Or, a Fer de Moline Sable (a gold shield with a millrynd in black). The millrynd of heraldry is only slightly stylized in form from the actual Rynd used in mill construction.
