Millington is a small village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England, approximately two miles (3.2 km) north east of Pocklington. Nearby is Millington Woods and Millington Pastures. Millington Woods is one of the few remaining wooded dales in the Wolds. It is a popular beauty spot and is known locally for its springs - Millington Springs - which formerly supported large beds of watercress. Millington Pastures holds a stock of highland cattle, it is also renowned for its beautiful scenery, for bike riding and for walking.
The Gait Inn, Millington is a 16th century family run free house, owned by Stuart and Helen Stephenson. The pub offers traditional ales, bar meals and special dinners can be booked. It is famous for its steak pie and sticky toffee pudding. Every Wednesday night there is an alternate Music and Quiz night.
The Ramblers Rest across the road from The Gait Inn provides welcome refreshments for cyclists and walkers.
