Miller/Knox Regional Shoreline
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Miller/Knox Regional Shoreline is a 295-acre park in the Point Richmond neighborhood of Richmond, California. It offers panoramic views of the Bay Area especially San Francisco and the North Bay mountains. The park features a beach Keller Beach, and a vast picnic and barbaque area.
The origen of the name is a former state senator, George Miller, Junior, and a former state assemblymember and also Point Richmond resident John T. Knox. [1]
The park also features an olympic swimming pool sized salt water lagoon, where ducks, seagulls, and Canada geese frolick.
The park features many trails for cyclists, dog-walkers, and hikers alike.
