Millbrook High School

Millbrook High School is a high school located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The school is part of the Wake County Public School System. It is located near East Millbrook Middle School. MHS is finishing its rennovation of its campus which includes a new three-level building, a new courtyard for students, and a larger cafeteria making MHS one of the largest and up to date facilities in the WCPSS system. Millbrook has a monthly newspaper named Cat Talk, named after its mascot, the wildcat. Performing arts include a marching band, drama, a choir, dance, and an orchestra. The school's address is 2201 Spring Forest Rd. Raleigh, NC 27615.

On October 31, 2006, Millbrook instated a new "Plus Period" schedule. Students who do not have an A or B letter grade will sit through a tutorial/help session during their class of problem. On Tuesday, for example, a student with an A or B in their first block class will be allowed to study, talk with friends, etc. in the auditorium, cafeteria, gym or media center from 10:19 till 10:44. Those with a C or lower will be directed back to their first block class during plus period time for extra help. Wednesday deals with second block, third on Thursday and fourth on Friday.
