Princess Milica Petrović-Njegoš, also known as Grand Duchess Militza, (1866 - 1951) was a Montenegrin princess. She was the daughter of King Nikola I Petrović-Njegoš of Montenegro and his wife, Milena Vukotić. Milica was the wife of Grand Duke Peter Nicolaievich of Russia, the older brother of Grand Duke Nicholas Nikolayevich Romanov of Russia, whose wife was Milica's sister, Anastasia.
[edit] Milica and Anastasia
Both Milica and Anastasia were socially very influential at the Russian imperial court in the early 20th century. Nicknamed jointly "the black peril", they were interested in the occult. They are credited with introducing first a charlatan mystic name merely Philippe, and then with graver consequences Grigori Rasputin to the Imperial family.
