Miles Away

Miles Away are an Australian melodic hardcore band from Perth, Western Australia. They formed in 2002.

The members of the band are:

Cam Jose - Guitar
Chris Unsworth - Drums
Adam Crowe - Guitar
Nick Horsenell - Vocals
Steven Hopperton - Bass

Following demo recordings in 2002-03, the band signed to Australian label Common Bond Records. They released an EP called Make It Count in 2004 and the same year contributed songs to the compilation State of Affairs, featuring Australian bands from five states.

In 2005 Miles Away signed to the US hardcore/punk label Bridge 9 Records, issuing a self-titled EP that included previously-released tracks from Make It Count and other recordings. Later that year they released their debut album Consequences in Australia (issued January 2006 in the USA).

They have just released their 4 track 7" "Brainwashed" which included 3 new tracks and 1 Descendents cover in 4 colours in October 2006.
