[edit] Synopsis
Lino(Piolo Pascual) travels to Italy in search of his wife who had left a year earlier and had stopped communicating with him. Traveling to Milan, he meets up with Jenny (Claudine Barretto), a pillar of the local Filipino migrant workers community who helps him search for his wife and eventually falls in love with him. Neither wishes to leave their spouse back home nor to abandon their family. Each is but a temporary shelter for the other, a place to ward off the chill of loneliness and alienation, though no less authentic or loving a relationship than more conventional arrangements. But disaster strikes when Jenny gets pregnant. She tells her husband back home that she cannot go on home just yet (she is visibly pregnant) even as her partner has to listen into the intimate conversation.
