[edit] Formatting dates
Hi there.
I noticed you made some edits on Deal or No Deal (UK), changing the formatting of dates. The reason that dates are wikilinked is so that they can be displayed according to each reader's preferences (as set via "my preferences" at the top of each page). So you can choose to always see, for example, 3 March 2005, regardless of whether it is wikilinked as [[3 March]] [[2005]] or [[March 3]], [[2005]]. You should therefore resist the temptation to change dates to a preferred foramt.
It is also generally considered a bad idea to link months and and days, unless there have a particular significance (for example, one exception is that you might link July if discussing how it got its name in an article about Julius Caesar). Standalone years are not usually wikilinked either, but this is currently undergoing some debate.
If you'd like more info about this, please see the Manual of Style at WP:DATES. Thanks. —Whouk (talk) 19:14, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. One other useful tip to use on talk pages: you can sign and date your message easily by using four tildes like this: ~~~~. Cheers. —Whouk (talk) 19:24, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Edit summaries
When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. The JPStalk to me 19:52, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WP:WASS
- Hi! I am also playing the ultra game about word assoication. You filled in Threesome next to Revenge, I am wondering what are their connection?? just being curious....
... Heh, I just figured well.. you can get revenge on a person by sleeping with somebody else. Heh, it's not a very good link.. but it was the first one to come to my head, and that's the point of Word Association. :D
[edit] Level Up - The Next Level
Hi! I noticed your name on the history page of the Level Up article and was wondering if you could help me expand the table about The Next Level. Thanks, but don't worry if you can't! -- Jatkins 17:05, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Big Brother (UK series 7)
Hey there. I'm leaving you this message as you were a part of making the article Big Brother (UK series 7) and I've had the crazy idea of trying to get it to featured status, or at least a good article. I've made a peer review page, and comments there for improving would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you see I have left anyone out could you message them as well? Thanks. --Alex (Talk) 11:33, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
