Hello, my name is Mike McKee. I have been reading Wikipedia for many years now and I felt it was time to contribute myself. Since I am an active photographer I plan to increase the appeal and value of many articles which lack photographs of their subjects.

I was raised in Columbus, Georgia. My father is a Colonel in the United States Air Force. My mother was a schoolteacher. Because of my parent's backgrounds I love to learn and read just about anything. I think this is the reason as to why I enjoy Wikipedia so much.

I graduated from Columbus High School in May of 2006. I currently attend Georgia State University as a freshman.

I have a variety of interests. As you can see below, my interests range from photography and computers to cars and foreign languages. All of these articles I have contributed to in some way or fashion over the course of my Wiki-history.

I love to watch movies! I am a big fan of the Star Wars series, as well as the Lord of the Rings series. I also enjoy other science fiction and fantasy movies like Stargate, The Time Machine, and Final Fantasy: Advent Children. War movies can also take my interest, like Saving Private Ryan and We Were Soldiers. Recently I've enjoyed Wedding Crashers and V for Vendetta.

Occasionally I'll run into a movie that really surprises me. I love Phantom of the Opera, such a wonderful story with an equally wonderful movie.

I do not watch much television. When I do, it is usually Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, or Battlestar Galactica. Regularly I also watch South Park, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, CNN, and Discovery Health.
