Mikołaj Gomółka

Mikołaj Gomółka (born c. 1535 in Sandomierz – died c. 16001) was a Polish composer, member of the royal court of Zygmunt II August. After his death, from c. 1590, he was a member of the court of kanclerz Jan Zamoyski.

Gomółka's only known, and possibly only published (1580, Kraków) work was Melodie na Psałterz polski, a volume of melodies to all 150 psalms. The music is composed to the Polish text, translated from Latin by Jan Kochanowski.
