Mikestar is a flying dragon from the pages of L. Frank Baum's 1914 Oz book Tik-Tok of Oz. He is best friends with the dragon Rak and together they journey to far away regions in search of the revolution plant.

This friendly, intellectual, and often described to be a handsome dragon, has golden camouflage scales, shimmering wings of gold, and is always armed with an infectious bling bling smile. He breaths hyphy fire upon those who anger him. Mikestar is diferentiated from the other dragons as being the sole possessor of the magical daisykey of which he wears around his neck. It is a reminder of the infinite love bond he has with the princess dragon of the southern lands to which he will return to permanently after the quest.

Although the book describes Mikestar to be born from a lake in the Oakland jungle, as the publishers wanted him to be, M. Victoria, an avid reader and advocate of the Tik-Tok of Oz argued vehemently in a interview after the book release, "Mikestar was actually to be hatched from a golden balut egg from the Illocos." When questioned further about Mikestar, Victoria goes into further detail adding, " The actual person that inspired me to create Mikestar is a very good friend of mine, I'll tell you more about him but not even an encyclopedia series can capture this grand nature of this guy. To start, He was born and raised in San Francisco. Who would even know that a crazy, handsome, Filipino guy would make it in the book."
