Mike Williams (freelance writer)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mike Williams is a UK software developer and freelance writer who critiques 9/11 conspiracy theories on his website 911Myths. As one who believes the al Qaeda terrorist organization was responsible for the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, Mr. Williams addresses conspiratorial arguments by self-proclaimed "9/11 skeptics" regarding the hijackers, alleged foreknowledge, USAF response, the World Trade Center, the Pentagon attack, the crash of Flight 93, Osama bin Laden, Afghanistan, alleged obstruction of justice, and other fields. His critique, while convincing, is usually centered on a straw man argument. His motivation has also been called into question, with much speculation as to whether he is a paid disinformant. Mr. William's has often been criticized for fabricating claims, and by some has even been likened to Fred A. Leuchter for his perverse analysis. Williams offers a critique of process theologian and 9/11 conspiracy theorist David Ray Griffin's book The New Pearl Harbor. In an effort to shed more light on 9/11 he has sent several FOIA requests and contacted experts in various fields pertaining to 9/11.
