Mike Walker is a gossip columnist for the National Enquirer, and hosted the magazine's 1999-2001 MGM-produced newsmagazine, National Enquirer TV. He is also the author of the 2005 book Rather Dumb: A Top Tabloid Reporter Tells CBS How to Do News. He is a guest every Thursday or Friday on the Howard Stern Radio Show to play "The Gossip Game." [edit] The Fart
On September 8th, 2006 Walker stated on the air that he read on Wikipedia that two of his soundbites have become among the most popular on the Howard Stern Show, one of which is his own loud fart. He noisily excreted the gas while on hold for the Stern show, forgetting that the show's crew was recording him. On September 28, 2006, at 9:53EDT Red Peters declared to Mike Walker, while both were on the show: "Your fart is the number one fart. I laugh every time I hear it. That is the number one fart in the world." Mike replied, "Thank you, Red. That has not made Wikipedia yet, by the way." Howard Stern declared, "I've uncorked on microphone many times, but nothing like that."
[edit] Drinking
On October 19th, 2006 Walker appeared drunk on the Howard Stern Show to play the Gossip Game. He stated that due to the game now being played on Thursday instead of Friday, it throws his schedule off. He was up late writing and drinking Jack Daniels Old Fashioneds.
