Mike Thurman

Michael Richard Thurman (born July 22, 1973, in Corvallis, Oregon) is a former professional baseball player who played Major League Baseball for the Montreal Expos from 1997-2001 and for the New York Yankees in 2002. Thurman is currently a scout for the New York Yankees, in the Pacific Northwest. Thurman was drafted in the first round (31st overall) of the 1994 amateur draft, after playing for Oregon State University in college. Thurman is a gradute of Philomath High School, where he has made numerous contributions to the baseball program and also has served as a Coach during a Summer league. Thurmans records still stand at Philomath.
