Mike Rogers is a music, TV, radio, and documentary producer. He has been called the "King of Alternative Music" in Japan^{[citation needed]}. He was born and raised in the United States and moved to Japan in 1984.

Rogers contributes to Lew Rockwell.com on a consistent basis. He writes the "Cool & Strange Music" monthly column: [1]. He is an anarchist and has been called the modern world's version of Lafcadio Hearn by Lew Rockwell himself. His first book, Schizophrenic in Japan, is now on sale.
