Mike Rich

Mike Rich (born 1959) is an American screenwriter best known for his writing on sports-related films. A graduate of Oregon State University, Rich began his media career as a news reporter for a Portland radio station. In 1998 he was awarded a Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for his first film script Finding Forrester.

Most recently, he wrote The Nativity Story, about the birth of Jesus. Rich is a non-denominational Christian.[1]
