Mike Pattenden

Mike Pattenden is a journalist who once wrote for "Commodore User", a now defunct computer magazine for the Commodore 64. It was once stated by another writer for that magazine that "he likes expensive Japanese trim".
He is the author of a biography of The Beautiful South entitled Last Orders at the Liars Bar.
He also wrote a book about Sonic the Hedgehog, called Stay Sonic: The Official Sega Handbook. This featured an adaptation of a Sonic origin story from an issue of Disney Adventures comic, which was later used as Sonic's background in Sonic the Comic and other UK publications.
