Mike Leclerc (born November 10, 1976 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) is a professional ice hockey player.
[edit] Playing career
Usually playing as left wing, Leclerc was drafted in the 3rd round, 55th overall by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. Anaheim traded him to the Phoenix Coyotes prior to the 2005-06 NHL season, but he played only 35 games for the Coyotes before being traded on February 1, 2006 to the Calgary Flames with Brian Boucher for Phillipe Sauve and Steven Reinprecht.
Leclerc is currently an unrestricted free agent in the NHL. It is expected that he will get an opportunity to sign with a team this season in the event that a team comes across injury or grit problems with its roster.
