Mike Lambert

Mike Lambert (aka. "Lambo" and "Hawaiian Curtain"; born April 14, 1974) is an American beach volleyball player.

Lambert was born in Kaneohe, Hawaii. He went to Punahou School along with his current partner, Stein Metzger.

While off the beach, Lambert enjoys music by writing, singing, and playing the guitar. He wrote the songs "We Are the AVP" and "I Love the AVP"

Lambert currently resides in Costa Mesa, California with his wife, Deborah, and has a child. They are expecting a second child in October 2006.

Lambert graduated from Stanford University in 1997 with a degree in political science. He and fellow AVP player Matt Fuerbringer were members of the 1997 NCAA National Championship team for volleyball.

Lambert previously teamed up with Karch Kiraly.

In the 2005 AVP Tour, Lambert won the best men's player after winning the AVP Aquafina Las Vegas Shootout at the Hard Rock Hotel.
