Mike Blair

Michael Robert Leighton Blair (born April 20, 1981 in Edinburgh) is a Scottish rugby union footballer. He plays professional rugby union as scrum-half for Edinburgh Rugby and represents Scotland. Blair has recently signed another two-year contract with the Edinburgh Gunners. He attended the Edinburgh Academy and his brother David is with Sale Sharks.

Blair's international debut came on the 15th of June 2002 against Canada and scored his first try for his country in the same game. Blair has acted as vice-captain for Scotland.

He has 32 caps for his country with the latest being against Italy in Rome in March 2006. Blair has been cited as one of Scotland's most promising players, and consistently gives world class displays.
