Mika (singer)

Mika (born 1983) is a Beirut-born, Paris and London-raised, New York-based singer who has a contract with Casablanca Records and used to attend Westminster School. He appeared on BBC Radio 1 in September 2006. He has a background in classical songwriting. His music is a fusion of dance, funk, pop and others. His debut single was a download-only track called 'Relax, Take it Easy' (2006). It was playlisted by BBC Radio 1 in the UK and was also made 'Record Of The Week' by DJ Scott Mills; virtually unheard of for a download-only release. The 'Dodgy Holiday' EP is also available and is exclusive to i-tunes. This EP includes the songs 'Billy Brown', 'Love Today' (Acoustic Version), 'Relax, Take It Easy' (Live) and 'My Interpretation' (Acoustic Version). On January 29th 2007 Mika will release the song 'Grace Kelly' as a single in the UK. This track will feature remixes from Tom Neville, Linus Loves and Pull Tiger Tail.
