Miguel Fleta

'Miguel Burró Fleta born in 1897, was a Spanish tenor. Despite his career being a very short one (1919 until 1935) he is often described as one of the greatest opera singers ever to have lived. Fleta is also credited with creating the role of Calaf in Puccini's Turandot at the insistence of famed conductor Toscanini, and was the first interpreter of the role in 1926.
