New Zealand Council of Trade Unions

Hi Midnighttonight. Yeah, you're correct about being non-kiwi (although I did live in Auckland for a year back in the late 70's). I'm working on Labour articles over at Wikiproject Organized Labour and I thought I'd plow through NZCTU's 34 affiliates next. I see there are only two started right now. Cheers. --Bookandcoffee 05:51, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for the hints :) Im just procrastinating about study at the moment. In the holidays I'm going to sit down and write some proper contributions.

Thanks again for the welcome.

New Zealand Parliament; New Zealand House of Representatives

Cool, I’ll have a look over the articles now, One thing I would suggest is the removing of the passage of legislation from the Parliament article, as that’s more a House of Representatives thing imo

Also I have expanded the Queen of New Zealand article, been queen’s birthday.

If you have a spare moment you might want to check NPOV. I tried to take in the treasonist republicans views

Happy Queen’s Birthday :) Brian | (Talk) 04:58, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

Please, I'm not at all treasonist Brian. --Lholden 05:19, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
Did I say that :) Brian | (Talk) 05:29, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

Sedition in NZ

I feel you are a dreadful tease, the links at Current events in Oceania don't take us to the current trial at all, just sedition aand NZ - what is it all about? Wh is being prosecuted for what?--A Y Arktos\talk 09:21, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

I agree. You should write up a paragraph (perhaps at Current events, or in the main news section of Current events in Oceania) and link to a news source dealing with the trial. I took a quick look at the NZ Herald website and couldn't see what you were talking about.-gadfium 09:43, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
The guy who put an Axe through the PM electorate office in 2004, in protest against the Foreshore and Seabed Bill Brian | (Talk) 19:27, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
Hi Midnight, made a few edits. We don't have an article on the NZ Crimes Act though! --Lholden 03:36, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Ah yes, a pic. I see the Jury has just been sworn in. This article should go under Wikinews as a recent event - Brian where are you? --Lholden 03:45, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Okay, I'll write a wikinews article & link
Should we be posting the entire pamphlet and what it is stating? I'm thinking along the lines of WP:NOT Wikisource might be a better place with a link, and is it copyright? Brian | (Talk) 04:02, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
ITN is a good idea. I spent more time over on wikinews that here :) Brian | (Talk)

Selwyn

I was just confused by the template/description summary. If that is the correct licence per that website, I have no issue with it. 68.39.174.238 04:24, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Portal:New Zealand

Is it okay for you now? I reverted your extra </div> as I'm fairly sure that wasn't the cause of the problem. It looks okay to me using three different browsers, I'll try a couple more in the next half hour.-gadfium 09:07, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

I think someone must have changed a template which caused a problem for several portals, and then changed it back when they realised what the effect was. See Wikipedia:Village_pump_(technical)#Portals_Problem for an indication that it wasn't just the NZ Portal.-gadfium 09:13, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
