[edit] Category:Companies based in Solano County

Did you read the line carefully? --evrik 05:21, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

Looks like I did not read it carefully enough. :) --Midnightcomm 05:24, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
Hah! --evrik 05:27, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Adding metrics to acres

I see you have added 6 km2) to at least one article. Thanks. I'm busy adding so much history that I don't get around to converting acres to km. Here are more of my contributions (Plantations of Leon County) if you'd like to assist. Noles1984 20:01, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Thank you. I'll take a look. --Midnightcomm 20:30, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] One-way security

right on, with the security one! NVid 23:05, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

Confused. Are you refering to this? --Midnightcomm 23:08, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
ya. NVid 23:12, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
Sorry if I wasn’t more clear, I think you were correct in putting the “unreferenced” tag. NVid 23:14, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

Although it seems a BIT computer generated, thanks for the welcome! NVid 23:12, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

It is. The template I used was welcome (with subst: added before it). You can see the other Welcome templates in use. --Midnightcomm 23:14, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
oh, okay. NVid 23:15, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Anno Domini

You added a fact check template to the Anno Domini article. I have some good references on this topic. If you would explain on the article's talk page (Talk:Anno Domini) exactly which fact you want confirmation for, I would be happy to try to supply a citation. By the way, I did not contribute the text in question. --Gerry Ashton 02:51, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Walter B. Woodbury

Thanks! And thanks for the date wikifying. Pinkville 03:36, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Visual perception and Underwater vision

These topics should stay separate - the merge is not required as the topics are disparate. Visual perception is about photochemistry, neurological and psychological aspects of vision in humans. Underwater vision is a physical concept of visual distortions expected for aquatic life and divers - it is of sufficient scientific interest to deserve its own spot on Wikipedia. EyeMD T|C 11:08, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

okay --Midnightcomm 18:01, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] No prob

No problem, I'll add more when I get the time. :) Thanks for starting it!--Hughgr 00:35, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Context in Nemšová article

Why did you add that context template immediately?! You saw that the article was just created, and you'll dog me quickly for missing few words, but why didn't have you added it yourself, then? Well, after that I must say that I'm sorry to tell you that I'm really upset, because I don't like people who criticize everything but don't want to fix that thing. MarkBA 22:01, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry, I did not intend to cause offense. I think it is usually a good idea for the original author to be allowed to stabilize a new article before I "jump in" and start fixing everything. --Midnightcomm 23:32, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:JohnstonDiagram NotAandNotB.PNG

>> I made a SVG version of Image:JohnstonDiagram NotAandNotB.PNG and called it Image:Not A and Not B.svg. Does the image look correct to you? --Midnightcomm 22:09, 21 November 2006 (UTC) <<

Not really: first of all, the SVG version is missing a blue rectangular border. This border represents the universal set, which in turn represents (for Johnston diagrams) the set of all possibilites, i.e. the "set of all possible worlds". In the fifth paragraph of the Johnston diagram article, this universal set and its representative rectangle are explicitly mentioned, so please add a blue rectangular border.
In the other diagrams, the letters A and B are blue in order to match the blue circular boundaries of "sets A and B". If the region outside both A and B but inside the universal set were to become black (as it does in some of the other diagrams), then these black letters would disapper, but if they were blue they would still be visible, so the letters do need to be blue, please.
Then, the region outside both A and B but inside the blue rectangular frame should be white, not colorless, because white represents "possibility", as mentioned explicitly in paragraph four, whereas colorlessness was not assigned any meaning. So, if you make these changes, the SVG version will look correct to me. —AugPi 01:44, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
Thank you. I will make the necessary corrections. --Midnightcomm 16:14, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
>> Is the image now correct? --Midnightcomm 16:42, 22 November 2006 (UTC) <<
Yes, perfect! And if you want to convert the rest of my Johnston diagrams to SVG, you're welcome to do so. —AugPi 17:43, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hi

Hi there. I was wondering if you could please keep an eye on the user who has been continuing to be inexplicably uncivil towards me for speaking with Big Boss 0 previously over a simple edit. Nightmare 81 continues to extend the comments made to his/her original statement on my talk page, despite being told to act more civily/calm down by both you and Big Boss 0. I do feel as if the user is making personal attacks toward me, when he/she was not even involved in the edit in question him/herself, and that perhaps personal attack warnings would be in order. As adding them to the user's page myself will probably only provoke him/her more, would you kindly please help me out a bit on this issue? Thanks a lot. --Benten 00:47, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

I left a message on Nightmare 81's talk page about civility. As requested I will check up on said user from time to time. --Midnightcomm 01:24, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
