Midwest Communications, Inc. is a Wausau, Wisconsin based owner-and-operator of 42 radio stations in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The company is a family-owned business and is headed by Duke Wright. Despite being a family-owned business, the company has come under heavy criticism for it's extesive use of voicetracking. Most notobly the company has several times fired DJs from entire radio stations and replaced them with voicetracking technology.
