Middleton High School (Middleton, Wisconsin)

Middleton High School is a high school located in Middleton, Wisconsin, and serves more than 1,900 students in the Middleton-Cross Plains area. Middleton is located along the western shore of Lake Mendota and is one of the fastest growing communities in Dane County. Middleton's school nickname is the Cardinals. Their athletic teams play at the WIAA Division 1 level, and they are part of the Big 8 Conference, which consists of teams from the Southern Wisconsin area. Middleton also has an alternative high school (Middleton Alternative School High or MASH), where students also take classes.
Middleton High School was established in 1879. As of October 2006. The current head principal is Dr. Denise Herrmann [1]
