[edit] Canada 2006 Census Form Colours
Michaelm: It was late, and I apologize for not advising you of my deletion on your Talk page. My bad. That said, please elaborate on the encyclopedic nature of this contribution to assert its historical importance. Should you include the colours used on the online questionnaire? What about braille forms? How does this compare with previous census forms? -- Robocoder 20:42, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Buzz Hargrove
Hi Michael - thanks for your contributions to the Buzz Hargrove article. I was wondering if you could add some sources for both the criticism and the defense of Hargrove? I think your description of the debate is accurate but expressions like "Many have said..." etc are so-called "weasel words" which we are supposed to avoid. Here are some tips for improving them. Thanks again! Robbie dee 14:41, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Canadian Action Party
Michael, I wasn't aware that the Canadian Action Party had officially adopted social credit as an economic theory. Could you please provide a reference? Thanks. Ground Zero | t 11:30, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
Let me pont this out if you lock up social credit under Organizations and the Canadian Action Party there is a link for Committee on Monetary and Economic Reform (COMER). It will tell you in the COMER link. You can edit the Canadian Action Party page if you don't agree. Michaelm
I agree that there are links between CAP and COMER ("A number of CAP members also belong to the Committee on Monetary and Economic Reform (COMER) and have been influential in developing CAP's monetary policy...." - from the CAP article) and that there are similarities between CAP policy and social credit ideas, but that is not the same as saying that CAP is a social credit party. I think that that is far too strong a conclusion to reach from the evidence that we have. I have reviewed the CAP website, and not found any mention of wanting to provide a social credit dividend payment directly to individuals, which is a keystone of social credit theory. I'll make the changes. Ground Zero | t 20:06, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Miquelon and Saint Pierre Currency
I know that the Canadian dollar is commonly accepted on the islands (as well as the American dollar), but is it really an official currency?--Filll 14:58, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
